A tragic incident occurred at the Los Angeles Hotel, west of Los Angeles, California, when a woman jumped from the top floor of the hotel, local time said on Feb. 1. When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they found that she had no vital signs.
The incident happened on the evening of the 29th of last month, and the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office concluded that the mode of death was determined to be suicide on the grounds that "there were multiple injuries on the body consistent with the fall."
After the identity of the woman was made public, the matter also attracted more attention.
Isabelle Thomas was the wife of Hollywood producer Bradley Thomas.
Just two weeks before she died, Isabel, 39, appeared on the red carpet with a smile and attended the 2024 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) tea party in Beverly Hills with her husband.
Simply from the red carpet group photo, it is difficult to find the difference. Isabel was dressed in a leopard-print dress, not as gorgeous as the actresses, but gracefully, and it was clear that she did not want to cover her husband's limelight or become the "focus" of the day's event.
Judging from the interaction between her and Bradley, the two are like an ordinary couple who are loving and calm, without any disharmonious atmosphere.
Bradley, 58, can be said to be one of the more well-known Hollywood filmmakers, making some interesting films, such as "Dumb and Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary".
At the end of last year, Bradley appeared with director Martin Scorsese and superstars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert de Niro and others to attend the premiere of the Oscar-nominated film "the Killer of the Moon." he is the producer of the film.
Isabel, who is reported to be nearly 20 years younger than her husband, is Bradley's second wife. They married in 2018 and now have two young children.
Bradley's first wife, Hillary Matthews, was a Hollywood actress, but not so famous.
Going back to the scene of Isabel's death, there are two theories about where she jumped. One said he jumped from the top floor, and the other said he jumped off the balcony of the room he lived in. But the body was eventually found in the hotel's pool area.
According to "TMZ", Isabel did not leave a suicide note, but the police have not publicly confirmed the news. The Los Angeles hotel also declined to comment on the matter, and no so-called witnesses or people familiar with the matter were willing to be interviewed.
This sad news is undoubtedly a huge blow to Bradley, a Hollywood producer, who doesn't care whether his film can finally win the grand prize.
